The elephant was very nice (how could an elephant not be nice), but it was quite stubborn at times. It would just stand and eat and not move anymore.Then our mahout would poke it a bit with the stick and the elephant made weird noises, like snarling and even trumpeting. It was all a bit scary. I thought that in an instant our elephant lady would just start running. I was not completely comfortable.
