Bangkok!

We are finally reunited! We each had our own little adventures to get to BKK. Well, Nathan's adventure started when he tried to get a room at 8am. Everything was full but finally around noon he got one (which we already moved out of because it is next to the restaurant and loud into the wee morning hours).
My plane was delayed first of all because of the snow storm that was going on in Munich and when we finally made it to the runway, we had to turn around to the gate. We had a drunk guy on board who demanded drinks. He was loud and wanted to dance for us. People told him to shut up and he suddenly got up and punched a guy, who hit back. Well, there was a full brawl going on and finally the male flight attendants held him down and handcuffed him. Back at the gate we had about 6 police people coming in, questioning people. Really freaky.
Anyway, being back here in this loud and stinky city feels so good. Hot and humid though. We had a nice (cheap) dinner last night and started the first round of shopping. Today we also shopped some more and organized our next step: a train ride to Sukothai (between BKK and Chiang Mai) tomorrow, to see some old temples. Right now it is pouring down rain and we are just hanging out in front of the computer, eating cheap and good food and just relaxing (still in tank tops and flip flops).
More later.
